A Mother's Day Massage for Mom

May 2nd, 2014 • Posted by True Beauty Wellness Spa • Permalink

Your mom deserves a big hug for Mother's Day. So why not extend your appreciation and give her a full-body hug-with a spa massage? Mom will love the quiet, softly lit room as soon as she lays her tired bones on the table and inhales the relaxing fragrance of the oils. After that, she'll have the spa experience of her choice.

Maybe she'd like to relax for 30 to 40 minutes with a Swedish massage, where our therapist uses long, gliding strokes that follow the return of blood to the heart, helping to repair overworked muscles and bring more oxygen to her body and rid it of toxins.Or maybe she'd prefer a deep tissue massage, where our therapist gets beyond the surface to dig deep into the muscles and fascia, loosening them and relieving pain and tension.

Maybe she's a reflexology fan who just doesn't know it yet. Reflexology can help with migraines, digestive problems, sinus problems, and just about any area of the body where there's internal tension. Whoever would have thought you could access and help heal other parts of the body through the feet? It may sound a bit unusual, but it does work and people keep coming back for more.

There are plenty of other massage treatments for Mom to choose from, and each therapist has her own ways, so let Mom talk to us at the spa to help her decide. It just might be the best Mother's Day she's ever had.

I went to True Beauty a few weeks ago and the staff were very friendly. I received a tour and was given the opportunity to relax in the lounge area before and after my massage. My massage therapist did something I've never done before. She asked me how did I want to feel after my massage. Grounded or airy. My massage was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
